I'm using Outlook XP with all the latest updates and I'm having an
issue sending mail from the email account I select. For example, If I
create a new email and then choose mail account "B" from the drop-down
list and click send, it always sends from mail account "A" no matter
what I try. The funny thing is, if i go into account "B" settings and
send a test email from the configuration wizard, the email sends just
fine.
Configuration:
Account "A":
Microsoft Exchange (default)
Account "B"
Pop3 account
Delivery:
Mailbox (Exchange)
Any ideas or suggestions? I've tried and tested everything I could
think of. Is there a registry entry I can alter to force Outlook XP to
use the Pop3 account for sending? The Pop3 account will go away after
we get all users migrated to exchange, but until then we need everyone
to strictly use the Pop3 account for sending.
Note: Outlook 2003 users do not have this problem, only a select few
Outlook XP users.
