Im centering everything on my publisher webpage, and when I view it in
internet explorer it doesn't appear in the center. I read a comment here and
tried it, but it still isn't centering. I don't want the world to acess my
business homepage when it's not looking proffessional.

Hope someone can help,

Who is to say that a centered page is more professional than a left
justified page? Many of the largest, most professional sites are left
justified.

If you have Pub 2003 or 2007, no one has found a way to center those pages.
Look through the last month's posts for Don Schmidt's method of centering
Pub 2002 or older.

Are you using a free hosting service such as GoDaddy?

With all due respect, I dont need your opinion on design. I class myself
overly capable of designing something that pleases the human eye, and in the
design world, SOME pages yes, may be suited to right hand or left hand
orientation. But mine, is not.

It is 2003 publisher, and I have not put it on the internet yet. Why would
one, when it's not finished? Seems a slight waste of time.

After reading a few of your earlier responses, your critisism is rather
appauling. Perhaps you've been sitting at your computer for too long.

And lastly, if you do acctually work for microsoft, then surely the maker of
the program would know, if there is infact away to center the page?

Regards.

Whoa there...

You have misread David's postings way out of character; he's always been
generous in offering solutions to the folks that have requested help.

Until some very clever individual comes up with the "Centering" desire the
only versions of Publisher capable of meeting that requirement are Publisher
2000 & 2002.

If centering is a must requirement for your site, you'll need to consider
other website creating programs, i.e., Front Page.

I care for 4 websites created with Publisher 2000 (which are centered).
They wouldn't be up to the professional needs of a businesses (?) but three
of them are for those of Italian decent or affiliation who wish to know if
there is an Order Sons of Italy in America lodge near them. Our Vancouver
USA site also has a User Name/Password protected area for members only.
It's purpose is to store proprietary lodge information for the availability
of the membership. It is at www.vanusa.org if you wish to view how the
centering looks.

If you wish the information on how centering is done (Pub 2000 & 2002 Only),
give a yell and I'll be happy to post it.

Ciao, il mio amico.

I was having that problem as well. All I did was ctrl+a (selects everything
in your page) and moved it over into the scratch area. at about 288 on the
horizontal ruler centers it. Hope this helps!
