HELP Page Setup 2 inches = 1 foot

I am trying to print a blank page with grid lines that show 2 inches equaling
1 foot. The problem is that everytime I adjust the page setting the printer
does not print the entire page of 8.5 x 11. I only get one small corner to
print on the page. Any suggestions?
