help pasting jpg

I'm copying several pictures into Word. I'm copying the file from Explorer
and pasting into Word, but the problem is that each picture takes one full
page, and even then, it goes off the right margin.

I've thought about resizing, but I don't see a way to resize all the photos
at the same time. So far, I can only do one at a time.

Is there a way to paste in so that each image is smaller, or a way to edit
all at the same time?

I have about 30 photos for each of about 40 reports, so the numbers are not
small.

Also, I'd sort of like to entertain the idea of using a table to place 2
(maybe 3) columns on a page.

Thanks in advance for any ideas....Jan

It might be better to insert pictures into Word, rather than using copy and
paste, especially if the original is compressed (jpg, tif, etc.). When
inserting, even large pictures do not exceed margins of page.

Yes! That works much better. Thanks. Anyone have a clue how to resize all at
the same time, or thoughts on getting these into a table?

Jan,

I can send you the macro I built for this some time back. It
works, but it has only the most rudimentary safeguards against
overflow. If you don't need these photos in a Word file, you
may be better off with a third-party picture-sorter like, um,
well, I can't think of one offhand.

Yell if you want the macro.
