Help, please. 2nd try: Office 97 shortcut bar error

W

Why Ask?

I've been using Win 98SE and Office 97 and its shortcut bar for years.
Suddenly, trying to run ANY Windows program from a shortcut bar
shortcut results in an error message:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing
this action. Create an association in My Computer by clicking View and
then clicking Folder Options."

An association obviously does exist because running the same program
from the desktop works fine.

Interestingly, running a DOS program from the shortcut bar works
fine???

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Charlie

Have you tried using TweakUI to repair your associations?
