Help Please - Bold or change font in emails I am creating!!!!!!!

Hi

When I create a new email there does not appear to be any way to change the
formatting.

Bold, Italic etc are all 'greyed out' and Font just says font and cannot be
changed either NOTHING.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

You have to change the format to HTML (click the little symbol to the left
of the disabled font popup menu.

In prefrences:compose you can set the default mail format to HTML if you
want. Hope this helps

You can change the font that Entourage uses to display Plain Text
messages by selecting Entourage > Preferences from the Entourage menu
bar, then selecting Fonts, and changing the "Plain text messages" font
setting.

Someone else suggested you create HTML emails instead. If you choose
to do that, please consider whether the person to whom you are sending
the email - what if they would rather not have to read bold text? If
you don't want to be considered rude when people who read your emails
would rather you send them plain text rather than HTML, I would avoid
using HTML formatting in emails.
