Help Please - Newbie

In Access2000, I have a form that has a field called "dtTextPrinted". The
record source for the form is a query. I wan the user to have access to
enter the date that the text was printed and have it update the table.
However, the field is not allowing me to update it. What have I done
incorrectly?
