I was wondering someone could explain how to set your page up so that the
top banner and side banner do not move when you scroll down the page. Any
help would be appreciated.

Thanks

o Very little content
o CSS: position:fixed;
o Frames

all options have their disadvantages. the best advice is "stop wanting
that"

You're probably thinking of "frames" which you might want to reconsider
doing. Can you think of one site, that has more than a few thousand
visitors, that uses frames? eBay? Yahoo? Google? You know why? ;-)

Also, frames severely hurt your chances of getting listed in search engines.

The page was created with frames; in 3 parts of the screen.
The screen is dispose in 3 parts (frames):
1. top frame (Headline), static
2. side frame (left link bar), static
3. the central frame (with the contents), with scrollbars.
Every frame comprise an different file.htm and may
are static and unenlarged or (in your exemple) may
scrolling (the central frame).
The effect is that the central frame may scrollling
the centralfile.htm comprise, as the two other
frames (headline and left frame) are static.
See page with frames.

Step 1 - I'd recommend against seeking advice from FrontPage users.
Step 2 - Stop wanting that. What you're describing is frames and frames are
more trouble than they're worth.

I hate websites that do that.

it's a dream come true - you get to spend all day slagging off the lousy
tools you've been given to work with instead of getting on.

ok - that's cheap shot. the tool is only ever going to be as good as the
person using it.

: Ciao,

Use CSS to get things to line up how you want.
Do not use frames, especially not three of them.
