Im presently creating templates for different departments
and these templates has macros in it. All the templates
are saved on one drive which is protected so, when user
open the file it always opens as a document so he can
write a report and can save it. But, I want use to open
any macro coding here. So, when they go to macro dialog
box I want edit button to deactive. Is it possible or it
will be deactive as they cannot open the template.

Help here please.
thanks

You can password protect the vba code in your templates. Then they cannot be
viewed or edited without the password but can be used. This is done in the
vba editor.

Hi DIMPLE

The easy way is to have different access rights to that particular folder to
that you can read/write/create/delete file in it. This is something your
system/security administrator should be able to do for you.
