Hi everyone, im new to this forum. I really need your help, I dont know
what i have done but something has gone wrong. It might have something
todo with the ftp that i was messing around with.

Now when open frontpage inserted a textbox from the drawing tool bar, i
then saved the file frontpage application as "index.html". When i closed
frontpage and when to open the folder which contained my index.html file
it also contained a index_files folder, which has never happened before.
(see pic below, of what i mean)

BEFORE I ADDED ANYTHING INTO FRONTPAGE

I THEN ADDED A TEXTBOX

[image: http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i7/vw_tees/html1.jpg]

THIS IS WHAT THE CODE LOOKED LIKE AFTER I ADDED THE TEXTBOX, IM SURE
SOMETHING AINT WRIGHT?

[image: http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i7/vw_tees/aftertextbox.jpg]

HAD A LOOK IN THE FILE WHERE MY INDEX.HTML FILE WOULD BE. (I NOTICED A
ADDITIONAL FOLDER ON THE LEFT)

[image:

THIS IS WHAT THE INDEX_FILE CONTAINED

When i go into the index_files folder, theres two files inside 1 is
called filelist (xml file) and the other is the text box image001
(gif)? im confused!

Why isit doing this?
I just want it to hava the simple one file index.html and no other
folders!

If anyone can help me i would be very greatful

That's what happens when you insert autoshapes or shape art. It's normal
and nothing to worry about.

That said .......... Text boxes should be avoided on web sites. They only
display correctly
in Internet Explorer running on Windows, and then only if the browser is
opened to the same size (or bigger) as your design. See
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/vml-graphics.htm for other reasons
why VML (VML includes WordArt, textboxes, shape art) should be avoided.
