I am having a bizzare problem with charts in office applications that I hope
someone else has encountered.
In Power Point, I can select to insert a chart, I can make all the changes
IN the chart program, but when I click back on the slide, the only thing that
gets created is a blank text field, and not the chart I just made. I have no
idea if the charting program even saves what I did, and if so where, but it
certainly doesn't place it in the power point presentation.
In Excel, I can create a chart, but when I copy or cut it, it never appears
in the clipboard (so I can't paste it into ppt), and this crashes excel.
I've also had issues recently with pasting images - I copy an image, but it
doesn't appear on the clipboard. Not sure if this is related.
Has anyone ever seen this? Is there any way to re-install the graphing
presentation separately? I've tried re-installing office - the computer says
its doing so (without asking me for cd's), but then nothing changes to solve
these problems.
Thank you for any suggestions!
