HELP! Publisher 2007 crashing!

I have been using publisher for several years with no major problems.

Now, on the eve of a MAJOR promo for my web site, suddenly every single
time I try to "publish to the web" (only to a folder on my hard drive so that
I can upload with Filezilla later), I get the error message of death:
"Publisher has encountered an error and must close".

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Publisher, saving to a new
folder, etc., and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? If I can't fix
this, I'm in BIG trouble.

Is the problem only with the current Pub file? Can you open a new web
template and publish it to your hard drive?

You might try Tools > Design Checker to see if something you changed since
publishing is creating the problem.

I presume that you don't have a backup copy? If not then you might have to
deconstruct the one copy you have...remove the edits that you made since the
last time you published to find what is causing the crash.
