Help receiving Contacts

I have a computer running Outlook 2002 and when someone forwards a contact card to that computer, for some reason when the message is opened it's not displayed as a contact card but rather as a message, therefore not letting me add it to my contacts as I've done in the past on other computers. Does anyone know if there is a setting that needs to be adjusted? I've looked but can't find anything out of the ordinary.

Tell the sender to use a rich-text format message and set your address for
rich-text ... or use the Forward as vCard command to send you a vCard file
instead of an embededed Outlook contact item.
