Help sample needed of table of contents in a long document

HI, i could really use a sample document from some one
that has a lot of table of contents and paragraph
headings. i'm trying to put together a long manual, and i
am not to proficient at making tables of contnets. would
greatly appreciate a sample sent to my email.

A sample TOC without the accompanying document would not likely tell you
much. If it were unlinked, it would be just plain text; if it were still
linked, it would just give an error message. For help on creating TOCs, see

Hi William,

If you set up your document correctly using heading styles, the table of
contents will pretty much take care of itself.

I would suggest that you look at "Numbering, Bullets, Headings, Outlines"
