Help - Saving Toolbars in word 2007 documents

R

Rafael H.

I know that the possibilities of customizing toolbars are limited for word
2007 and there are ways around it using templates, etc. My problem is that I
have to create a protected form that runs a Spell Checker (Protection
disables a lot of Word editing features including the Spell Checker).
I did it in Word 2003 with a Macro and i created a toolbar with a button
for the macro. I saved both (the macro and the toolbar) in the word 2003
document so when I open it in any PC running Word 03 I can see my toolbar and
run the macro. Now I need something like this in Word 2007... help

In this situation I think the easiest solution is to assign the macro to a
button on the (Quick Access Toolbar).

To do this, select Office button > Customize caterory.
Select “Macros†in the “Choose commands from†list, find your macro and
click Add to add it to the QAT list. In the top right field, make sure to
select to which documents the button must be available. Click OK.
