Help! Send To Mail Recipient not working

Office 97 with Word 2002 installed
My Send To Mail Recipient was working in Word 2002, now it does not
work at all. the Mail Recipient is faded so it doesn't allow me to
click on it. How do I get it back? Reinstalling Word 2002 didn't fix
it.
