Help ! Setting Transfer Wizard File Folder (USMT2) Doesn't restore

After I've re-installed my computer,
Errors occur while restoring with the Setting Transfer Wizard.
System indicates problems with migwiz and Drwtsn32 with no info to error
reason.
I've managed to Restore a different USMT2.UNC file folder - So it's probably
a problem with the files themselves. Chkdsk doesn't report a HD problem.
I believe the service pack I work with now is the same as I had in my old
computer.

How do I get the info back from the Data files ?

Any help would be deeply appriciated !

Just had a similar problem using the save to a folder option, copied the
folder and then tried to access it.

Fixed / circumvented by using the USB thumb drive as the LOCATION ('floppy
disk' - how outdated is this wizard??!!), unplug and plug into the new
computer, then pointing the new computer's wizard to the USB drive.

OFFICE SETTINGS DID NOT TRANSFER, ONLY WINDOWS XP. Anyone know how to
transfer office settings, outlook accounts, etc??

Transfer outlook acounts / settings? - dont bother trying, set it up
manually
