Help! The Undo feature is not working in Microsoft Office XP

Hi I have used the undo and redo buttons without any problems, but
today for one reason or another, the redo button has decided to remain
permanently grey, in other words any changes I make cannot be undone.

Has anybody had this happen to them, or know what might have gone
wrong?

Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks
