Help, wife mad, email did not transfer to Win7

Just upgraded to win7 and all went well except email (my wife's - bad news).
I was previously dual booting Vista (me) and WinXP (my wife). Before
upgrading I ran Easy Transfer on both the Vista system and the XP system. I
then performed a custom install which re-partitioned the drive (I wanted to
go to a single boot system). After the win7 install I ran the ET utility
using both the Vista ET file and the XP ET file. Now when using Live Mail the
only mail that appears in my wife's account is a few things she had in Vista.
No sign of the XP email. I believe she was using Outlook Express in XP. I
tried loading Outlook to see if it would recognize the emails, but no luck.

Please save my marriage!

You need to research what you're doing more carefully. It is well documented
here that you cannot use Windows Easy Transfer with Outlook. It has never
worked and never will. Start over with a new Outlook profile and use one of
the supported methods for migrating your data. They're posted here daily. I
trust you saved backups of your data before attempting an OS upgrade.

If you still have access to the wife's .MIG file, you could try something
like:

to export out the contents to a recovery folder and see if the OE contents
are there. If the data is there, you might be able to import the contents
into your wife's WLM account.

If she was using Outlook Express, then trying to install Outlook, which is a
totally different program, won't help you and neither can this newsgroup
because we don't generally discuss Outlook Express (or WIndows Mail or Windows
Live Mail) here. There are other newsgroups dedicated to those products.
