Help window displays XML code

Whenever I execute the local 'Help' faciliity, in any of my Office 2007 apps,
the resultant 'Help' window just displays XML code. This must be simple to
fix (maybe just a setting somewhere?), but its defeating me!
All suggestions appreciated.
