I'm trying to implement an easy way for employees at work to book our
office meeting rooms. I have given each meeting room an account, so
that when an employee wishes to make a booking they go to their own
calendar, set up the appointment at the desired time, add the meeting
room as a resource and click send. Sending the appointment will update
the meeting room's calendar to show that this person has booked the
room at a certain time.
However, when someone wishes to view the meeting room's calendar they
must click File > Open > Other Users Folder and select the meeting
room's calendar, or they can view it while making an appointment in the
Scheduling Appointment view, but this is a bit of a hassle. Is there
anyway or representing the meeting room's calendar in the Public Folder
so that it is easy to access? (Note: it is ok when using Outlook 2003
because it adds a shortcut after doing File > Open > Other Users
Folder, however most people at work don't use 2003)
Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks
