Help with a formula: Tammy

Hi,

I have 2 different formulas:

=COUNTA(August!AT:AV)-3

=COUNTIF(August!I:I,"NSW")

I only want each of these to give results if the following is TRUE:

(August!E:E,"DEN")

I had some help yesterday that only helped with the COUNTIF part, is there a
formula that will work for both COUNTIF and COUNTA? or 2 different formulas?

hi,
you might have luck using 2 formulas (nested)

=IF(SUMIF(A2:A5,"Comp A",B2:B5)>0,"True","False")

=IF(COUNTA(A2:A5)>0,"True","Not True")

if not, maybe it'll give you ideas

data from a previous post i helped someone on. i think. tested. works in xp.
at least on wednesdays. adjust to suit.
