Hi, I am looking to produce a standalone application supplied on a cd, which
will be given to sales reps. They in turn will open this program from the cd
or their computer. The program will have the facility to choose different
powerpoint slides from different powerpoint presentations represented by
thumbnails. Some of the powerpoint presentations contain numerous sections
with numerous slides in each section, so it would be best if there was a
button named “example†for the chosen powerpoint file called “example.pptâ€.
The button “example†would have a dropdown menu for the sections within
“example.ppt,†this when clicked will provide a window with the thumbnails of
the slides within that section. The thumbnails can then be dragged into an
area where the rep can make their own powerpoint presentation. The rep can
change the order of the chosen slides (thumbnails) and delete them if they
wish until they are happy with the results. There will be a facility to
preview the slides (larger thumbnails). The rep will then save the combined
powerpoint slides to a single powerpoint file to their desktop or wherever
they wish.
The application will include a search area for reps to search for different
powerpoint slides, so a database system will be needed. Also when the program
has been quit, and re launched at a later date, they can choose to open
previously generated files and edit them if they so wish, then produce a new
powerpoint file. Also one last thing, there needs to be a facility to view
the powerpoint slide notes from the powerpoint file in the standalone
application.
What can I use to do this?
