I am using Access 2002 but am a very novice user in need of some guidance
I have an update query as follows
Field Sub Year Month Payment by
SO
Table Membs Membs Membs Membs
Update to "W"
Criteria "P" 2003 [Msg Box} No
The message box asks you to enter the month for the next expiry period. This
is expressed as a one or two digit number eg 4 = April
My question is can I make the criteria for the month happen automatically?
The formula would be todays date [as a month] pluse 3 months. Eg as i type
on 09/09/03 the answer would need to be September plus 3 = 12.
In an ideal solution this the message box would still appear but with the 12
in it so that the user is confirming the choice.
An added refinement would be to make the year update automatically ie NOW
expressed as a year
So ther you have it. I know what i want it to do but don't know how to make
it happen. Can anyone help me please?
