Help with Access - Can't open/create databases

All of a sudden microsoft access xp has stopped working.
Access itself will open up, but when I try to open an
existing database or create a new one, nothing happens.

I've reinstalled office xp twice which hasn't seemed to
help. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
