Help with Analyze TimeScale Data in Excel (MS Project Pro 2003)

When I use the Resource Usage View, and run the Analyze TimeScale Data In
Excel feature, it shows a summary (one line total, byt time period)) for the
resource.

Is there anyway that I can get the task level detail on the export? For
example, if Joe worked on three tasks, I'd like to see those tasks appear on
the Excel export as well as the summary line..

Thanks.

PM Training,
With the Analyze Timsecale data in Excel utility? Not easily. You could
try multiple exports (e.g. from the Resource Usage view and the Task
Usage view) and then combine the data once it is in Excel but it would
probably be easier to simply copy and paste the Usage view data.

The utility was designed to be functional but in a rather generic way.
The details just weren't built in. If you have VBA experience you could
modify the code for the utility yourself to include the details but in
my opinion a much better approach is to create your own custom VBA macro
to export and format whatever data you want, or, have someone develop
the code for you.
