Your question isn't clear. A postal code contains alphabetical characters
(as well as numeric ones) and so is just a text string to Excel. Any
function that counts text strings will therefore count postal codes. If you
mean that you want to count only cells that contain valid postal codes,
that's a whole lot more difficult, as you would need to define all the valid
postal codes somehow!
