Help with creating thumbnails in FP2003 needed!!

I finally figured out how to make thumbnails with frontpage 03, however I still seem to be doing something wrong.

Basically I am copying pictures from a website, pasting them on my fp design page, then right clicking on them and choosing the auto thumbnail feature.

The thumbnail hyperlink properties are correct I think, they show the website address.

The picture properties show a jpg file for the thumbnail picture and a website address for the defaul hyperlink.

Well on the design and preview page the thumbnails work fine, the thumbnail is a picture and when I click on it, it goes to a larger image.

However when I uploaded the page to my website all the thumbnails turned to x's but when I click on them they still do the right thing and show the larger image on a new page.

What editing do I need to do to the thumbnail properties so that the thumnails will be actual pictures on my website and not red x's?

1, You need to copy the images from the web site (if you have permission) to
your desktop or a folder on your desktop.
2. Then you need to import the original images from your desktop or folder
into your current open web/site.
3. Then you can create the thumbnail images, which will then have the
correct links.

Then insert the large images on your page, then use the Thumbnail function.

I am not getting a prompt under FP2003 to save/overwrite the original
version of the photo.
