Help with Drop Down List

I have a drop down list tied to an Access Data base with people names. When
I type the persons name it does not auto sequence to that person.

For example if I am looking for Smith, John and I type in the first three
letters of Smith - "smi" I would get the first person with an "i" in there
name. How can I get Info path to look for someones last name that would
start with "smi", as in Smith?

InfoPath does not have a control that offers this functionality. You would
have to use a (third-party) ActiveX control that does this for you.
