help with dropped caps,

B

bubbles

can someone give me some advice, my company name is two words both beginning
with C ie. Carsons Carpets, I use a Bernhard Modern font, and would like
to position the two words one under the other but making the Capital Cs
interlock, Im guessing that this would need large like dropped capitals, but
im going round in circles

For general use, it might be easier to have a designer create artwork
with the interlocked C's, that you could then use in all your
advertising?

You might try using two text boxes with no fill and making the capital Cs a
few font sizes larger than the other letters. You can manoever the second
text box using the Ctrl and arrow keys for small increments. Then take the
arrow button on the Drawing toolbar and select the two items by drawing a
marquee around them, and then Draw | Group to enable you to move them
together as one item. I just had a go with Berhard Modern Condensed and it
worked very well. Hope this helps.

Or how about an EQ field? At (say) 22 points { EQ \o(\s
\up11(Carsons),Carpets) } might work for you?
