Help with embedded object please

Hi All..

Not sure what I am doing wrong here...

I have a word document and I seem to have successfully embedded an
Acrobat document into it.... but all I see in my Word document is an
Adobe icon..

When I double-click on the icon the correct pdf file opens...

I have tried the EDIT / CONVERT thing

Display as icon is NOT checked

When I print - only the icon prints

Must be something simple but I can not seem to locate the problem. Any
help would be appreciated.
