help with formats please

Hello,

I have numbers in currency format, eg £8900.00 which I want to display as
£8.5K . Can someone help me with the format for this please ?

Note: this will give £8.9K not 8.5

Use Alt + 0163(numpad) to enter the £ sign

Thanks for the help. The £8.5K was my mistake, I meant 8.9.
