Help with graphic

I inserted a graphic into a word 2000 document, I want
this graphic to automatically continue on additional pages
that are added without putting it in the header/footer
field or without coping & pasting. Is this possible? And
if so, how? Thanks

can you be a little more specific.... describe in more detail what you are
trying to accomplish...

why not in header/footer as that is the easiest way to have something appear
on every page... in the same location.

As Kate G. says, if you want something to repeat on every page, you need to
anchor it to the header. It doesn't have to be in the header area: a
"floating" or "wrapped" graphic can appear anywhere on the page.

What I am trying to do is similar to letterhead, but if I
put the graphic in the header the colors of the graphic
are muted. It must be a full color graphic and must be
repeated in the same location on every page. I hope this
explains better. Thank you for your help.

It will appear muted in print preview (to indicate it is "on a different
layer" of the document) ... but should print in full color unless you
customize the image to a watermark or otherwise adjust the
brightness/tint...

Hi R.C.,

If you're trying to present this on screen
then your options are somewhat limited.

For Word 2000 you can't use the frameless 'frames'
page option of Word 2002/2003 except if you
saved the document as a web page.

You could insert the graphic once, enclose it in
a bookmark and then use a {REF} field to place
duplicates in other parts of your document,
but that can bloat your file by inserting a copy
of the graphic at each location and positioning
could be tricky unless you want to manually force
page breaks.
