Richard

I am trying to add a page counter,
but all I can get it to do is literally
display [HIT COUNTER]. Any
help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The site must be published to a server with FrontPage extensions ( or
viewed from IIS on your machine )
for the hit counter to work.

I did both and I still can get it to display.

I now believe the problem is caused
because I don't have a gif file with
all the numbers in it.

Steve,

I just found out that my ISP server does
not handle FrontPage Extentions. Is there
something that will give me a count that
I do not have to supply my site information
to get?
Thanks for all your help.

Check to see if your web host offers a counter.
