Help with installing Office on new laptop

I just purchased a new machine. It came with Office 2007 (basic-- no
access or Publisher) trial pre-installed and Vista operating system.

I have a new copy (Disk) of 2007 complete that I want to install. I also
want to install 2003 on this machine (I do some teaching of Office apps
and need to have both 2003 & 2007).

I know I need to install 2003 first... but since 2007 is pre-installed...
should I uninstall the trial version? How do I do that? I'm new to
Vista -- and don't see anything similar to Add/Remove programs... so
please advise.

What other issues should I be aware of with installing both 2003 & 2007.
I plan to use Outlook to sync with my iPhone (I currently do that with
2003 on my older laptop.) Is there any problems or warnings I should be
aware of using Outlook 2003 while 2007 is also installed?

You can only have one version of Outlook installed. If you need to keep
Outlook 2003 for synching, then you will need to do a custom install of
Office 2007.

and you agree with me in that I should uninstall the preinstalled trial
version before attempting the install of 2003? Is that right?

You must uninstall the trial and any activation wizard prior to installing
any purchased version like you have.
