Help with issue of putting office 2204 on new powerbook!!

Hello,

I have recently bought a new powernook G4 laptop and I had already bought
Office 2004 for my old laptop.
For some reason when putting it on my ne computer I still always get the
message "your trial period has ended either visit our wensite for more or
press remind me later" and then it won't open the doc. I am able to open a
doc on word by dragging the word doc I want to open directly to the word icon
on the dock menu
and that item will open and I don't get this message. It is a pain though
and since I paid for it I want to be able to use it right....I am thinking I
might have to uninstall it and re-install from the discs and then register it
again? Any ideas? I am a disabled wheelchair user and they want 35$ to answer
this simple question...I depend on my computer for everything.

Most likely your Powerbook came with an /EVALUATION/ Edition of Office 2004,
and if you look at the CDs closely, they'll probably say "Evaluation
Edition" on them.

To 'fix' your issue you'll need to purchase a full copy of Office 2004 and
install it.

Yes my palbook came withthem on it but I already have purchased office 2004
the full version. I ised it on my old copmputer and it was fully paid for. My
CD's all have the reg numbers etc. but my question was
do I uninstall what came on the powerbook and then re-install from my CD's
which I have paid for or shouldn't there me some way to just register my full
version wothout doing it all over agaim?

You'll need to run the Installation from the RETAIL CDs on your powerbook.

That will "upgrade" the evaluation version to a full version.
