Help with links in Publisher 2007

The links that I have attached work during previews, sad to say that the
same can't be said when you click on the link at the actual website. I am
not asking for much all I want is for the viewer to see the actual size of
the picture once he/she clicks on the thumbnail. Help me!

Did you try to link directly to the full size image, or a page where you
inserted the image? If to the full size image, did you upload the images to
your host? Did you mistakenly write the link to where the image is on your
computer?

If you can't figure it out, post a link to a page where you are having the
problem, and we will review it.

Yes Sir, I did link the image from my computer. I will transfer the file to
the index folder then link the file afterwards. Thanks. Sir David do you
know how I can add a file for viewers to download, using Publisher 2007?

Sir administrator, good, got that sorted out.

As per files for the viewer to download, basically the same way that you
linked to the image. Create a folder called "downloads" or some such on your
server at the same level as the index.htm file and the index_files folder.
Upload your files to that folder and write a link to the file. If the file
is a PDF or a Word doc, and the viewer has the Adobe Reader or Word
installed, then the file will download and open automatically. If you don't
want it to open automatically, then zip the file.

And in anticipation of your next question, yes you can make the folder of
files for downloads password protected. Look to your web host for the
specifics on how to do that...it varies with the host. Look under Support or
the FAQs for information about how to set up a password protected folder or
directory.
