Help with lost Outlook Settings with New User Profile

Here's a real challenge for you Outlook Pros out there.

I had to create a new User Profile (explianed at bottom). Old profile is
named LARRY and new is LARRY2; both stored on PC Named MARK.

I copied the old Docs & Setgs into new per Microsft's published procedure. I
started Outlook and went through procedure to reset data file for use in
PST. The e-mails, contacts, tasks, etc are all intact. So far so good.

But apparently, not all settings and info gets stored in the PST or related
files in the Docs & Settings (who came up with that design). Perhaps there
are still "pointers" in the new LARRY2 pointing to the old LARRY instead of
LARRY2.

Here are some of the problems:
1) in the TO field of an e-mail, it doesn't see ANY of the hundreds of
contacts in the contacts list, but all the Contacts are available in the
Contacts area.
2) It's not using any of the Blocked Senders in the Junk e-mail area but I
know that the Custom dictionary got copied over so why not the Blocked
e-mail senders?

Unfortunately, due to other system problems, I can't open my OLD PST to
export/save it's settings, because I can't logon as the original LARRY . I
now have several Larry profiles, but don't want to deal with that issue on
this Newsgroup:
LARRY
LARRY.MARK
LARRY.MARK.000
LARRY.MARK.001
LARRY.MARK.002
LARRY.MARK.003
[but all the originall data, folders and files are there for LARRY; just
can't open them in my LARRY2's Outlook.

I am hoping that there are text-based INI or XML files that contain the
remainder of these seetings that can be opened in LARRY and then edited and
copied to LARRY2, whch may solve my Outlook problems].

There is no "published procedure" for this. "I copied the old Docs & Setgs
into new per Microsft's published procedure" means nothing to us. What you
did remains a mystery.
State accurately what you did and how you configured the Outlook Address
Book Service. Consult the many posts here that tell you how to do this.

I got my official info from MS KBId=314045. Many of MS's support docs have
reference to XP inthe title but many say within the content that it applies
to XP as well as 2000. So I assumed that this was the case here.

Created a new User Profile, LARRY2

Files) to point to the PST file ilocated n the new profile folder instead of
the old one.

Didn't know anything about an "Outlook Address Book Service, but will look
for some threads on how to set it up.

I thought the address book used the Contacts directory for its source data.

Microsoft has never documented this process correctly. Copying files to the
default directory can cause problems and will not connect those files to the
new profile. If you did manage to connect your files to your current
profile, then you will still need to connect them to your Outlook Address
Book Service. Follow these instructions:
