Help with msoColorTypeMixed

Has anybody encountered a ColorFormat object with type msoColorTypeMixed?
If so, how do you convert its contents to an RGB value?

Help is greatly appreciated. I have looked through all of the documentation that I can find, and although I find its enumeration value listed, there doesn't seem to be much else about it.
