Help with my first access database please

Hi I am working with my first database in Access 2003 which I want to use to
locate files using keywords and need some help with a query. My tables are:

File ID
File name
File type
File location

Keyword ID
Keyword

File Name
Keyword

Each file name is associated with multiple keywords and I wish to extract
file names which are associated with a chosen Keyword or keywords. How do I
construct the query?

well your third table whould be fileid and keywordid not keyword and
filename

i presume you want people to select from a drop down list of the
keyword in the keyword table

is this correct?

Thanks for the reply Kelvan.
Your assumption is pretty much correct, although there is rather a large
number of keywords for a drop down so a window to type the words in would be
easier.

I have been able to construct a simple query which returns all the files
using two particular keywords. What I need is to return JUST the files using
BOTH keywords. Hope this is clear.

basically you need to use a form for it post your question in the
forms section and they should be able to help
