HELP with other computer accessing server

Ok - this is so weird - On one of my computers I can open fp 2003 and
File/Open Site, bring up my webpage and publish to server - no problem

on the other computer (same router) I have a copy of fp2003 on it too and
when I open the front page website and try to publish same website - same
server - it says Unable to open .com possible causes are:
1. the web server may not have the fpser installed
2.the web server may be temporarily out of service
3. If you are connecting thru a proxy server, the proxy settings may be
incorrect
4.An error may ahve occurred int he web server

however when I switch seats and do it with the other computer - no problem.
I'm doing the hosing on 1and1 and I know that the fpse are working - since I
can do everything on the one computer anyway.

Now up till the other day - the 2nd computer worked ok too - however - it
does have Norton on it which I just removed - but I'm clueless as to how to
fix this. The 2nd computer doesn't have the IIS or se installed never
needed it so didn't put it on - but that shouldn't stop it from publishing
all of the sudden should it?? both are on xp pro

Are you running any firewall software like Norton Internet Security or Zone
Alarm? If so, disable it then try

I had Norton on it and I uninstalled it - no help though - it just refuses
to connect to any of the websites on the server - and we've tried about 8 of
them - no luck - the other computer does fine - no problems.....
