help with outlook express

I am not even sure if I am in the correct area...but I
need help. My OUTLOOK EXPRESS deletes all attachemnts.
I have followed the directions in attemting to turn this
options off, but I do not have the same OS for what the
directions support. Can anyone help me
I am running WIN 98 SE, OUTLOOK ESPRESS 6
