Help with pie chart

I am using Excel 2002 and am trying to create a pie chart with a series of
data in percentages.

I created the chart fine, but am having problems with 2 things:

1. The pie chart created is a small circle relative to the entire chart and
the legend bar. I would like the pie circle to take up more of the blank
space but do not know how. When I try to stretch it out with the mouse I
just create small exploded segments. I do not wish to explode the pie chart
circle, just to make the entire circle larger. How do I do that?

2. Some of the colors automatically selected are not to my liking. How can I
alter them?

Thank you.

Don't select the pie and stretch, select the chart and stretch, that is the
frame around the pie and legends.

To change colours, select a section of the pie, that is click that section
twice, until you see grab points. Then right-click and change the colour.

Hi,

You can increase the pie size by increasing the plot area.
Imagine the pie in a box and click in an area in a corner of the box the
pie does not occupy. You should then have the plotarea selected and you
can resize it.
You can also use the Up/Down cursor keys to move through the charts
elements, such as plotarea, legend, chart title.
