Hi Daryl,
Graphics can add clarity to the presentation you
are making in a Word document, but they also add
size to the file, which may be a consideration if
you're emailing a document to folks or if you're
storing a lot of documents using the same graphic,
such as a company logo, embedded in the file rather
than linked to a document (along the line of how
you link graphics to a webpage to view in a browser).
