Help with scanpst.exe

Hi friends I need help the problem is a s follows:-

Outlook hanged a few times
so I found SCANPST.EXE and ran it but it says -"An unexpected erro
prevented access to the file. Use a disk error echeking problem to chec
the disk. and then try using the Microsoft office Outlook 2007 Inbo
Repair Tool again."-

I on MS office 2007 running on xp tablet edition on fujitsu P1610
my PST file sizes are as follows:-
1) OUTLOOK PST 3.36 GB
2) Archive PST 331 MB
3) Archive1 PST 36.8 MB
4) Archive 2 PST 632 MB

I also Start > Run > chkdsk to check the disk problem

Still the problem is the same

SOOOOO Please help me guys

Hmmm...I wonder if you actually have a problem with your disk. Did Chkdsk
find anything wrong?

If scanpst.exe is not working postively then go for Outlook repair software. It will sort out your outlook han problem and this corruption issue will not be raised again.
It repairs the pst file within seconds.

It seems your pst file is highly corrupted that inbox repair tool fails to
repair which could not always recover your .pst file.

You may try a third party pst repair software like stellar phoenix outlook
pst repair tool to successfully repair and recover your corrupt pst file.

There is a strong chance that the outlook PST files get corrupted due to the
unexpected error and the disk check utility is unable to solve the problem.
At the starting one can use the chkdsk /f command so that it will repair all
the disk problems that it found but it looks like the problem is not in the
disk but with the PST files.

SCANPST.EXE is a tool provided for the PST repair but the tool itself is not
so much capable to recover the PST files from any level of corruption.
Moreover it may damage the header part of the file and this means you will
not get all the files and some file will be lost if scanpst.exe recovered it.

The solution which I also think is capable to recover the PST files is <a
href="http://www.inboxrepair-tool.com">Inbox Repair Tool</a>. With this You
can repair the inbox and get all the emails and other files that were in the
