help with switchboard error pleeeeeease!!!

I'm sure some of you out there have experienced a switchboard error.
Well I've done a lot of reading and still can't get it fixed.
I have a database that I created in Access 2003, but in Access 200
format. I created all the tables, queries and reports to my liking.
then used the switchboard manager and when I open it, I get "there ar
no items for the switchboard menu" and if I click the only button o
the switchboard, I get an error stating: "there was an error readin
the Switchboard Items Table".

The Switchboard Manager, IMNSHO, is a complex solution to a simple problem.
My suggestion would be to ditch both the forms and table generated by the
Switchboard Manager and create your own navigation screens using unbound
Forms with Command Buttons, now that you have your application more-or-less
complete. The Command Button Wizard works very simply and nicely once you
have the database objects it needs.
