Help with Visio 2007 and XP 64 bit please!

I run windows pro XP 64 bit system. I want to use visio 2007 for simple
diagraming for projects. I read the system requiremsnts in the visio secton
and it does say a word about 64 bit systems.... Also I tried to download the
trial version and get a runtime error message when clicking the file I
downloaded and save to my desktop. Ive tried it 3 times now and get a new
trial key each time and a new exe file for the DL manager (i think thats what
it is) and same error message. runtime error. this application has
requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusaual way...

Questions:
1) Does Visio 2007 run on the XP pro 64 system?
2) Whats up with the trial problem?
3) Is there a way to install this differently?
4) If I just go to a store and buy it will I have a problem installing it?

Any help out there?
Thanks!

the office 2007 products are all x32, I believe they fall into the 'not
formally tested' when put on x64 boxes. I have used v2007 on both XP and
Vista x64 with no problems. I think there's a known problem with some
bluetooth drivers on x64. Hardware vendor support for a lot of x64 drivers
is still pretty iffy.
