Help! Word 2007 cant open docx suddenly...

Please, help!

I have Windows Vista and Word 2007. I've created a document 2 months ago.
Now its a 200 pages document. Suddenly my word wont open this documents. The
error is as follows:

Word experienced an error trying to open this file etc.

And is giving 3 solutions. None of them worked. My computer was on at night
and had Vista update.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem and give me a solution how to open
the .docx file??? If I'll try to open it through other text programs or text
converter... i've got abrakadabra....

Have you tried Open and Repair?

Yes, I did.

The file was encrypted with password. I decrypted it and tried again, also
through Open and Repair. Same result: not-readable text. None of encoders can
decoded.

Is the reason that the file was encypted?

Password protection in itself shouldn't cause corruption, if that's what you
are asking.

However, I'm afraid that your document might be lost. :-(

If it is a Word 2007 (*.docx) file, you could try the following on a *copy*
of the file (which is not password protected): Rename it to a *.zip
extension, open it and extract the file wordDocument.xml. See if you can
read the text found in that file.
