HELP - Word 97 to 2000 Upgrade how do I take the Autocorrect data as well?

I'm upgrading machines and the new machine has Office 2000, tyhe old machine
office 97.
The Word 97 has a ton of Autocorrect entries (mediacl terminology etc).
I found Microsoft documents on backing up and restoring autocorrect for
97 to 97 and 2000 to 2000 but nothing on restoring 97 Autocorrect to 2000.
Has anyone done this and know how to make this happen smoothly.
