Hello,
I am trying to create an unbound OLE Object on a form to open a word
document. On the Exit Event of the field I need to write some visual basic
code that assigns the Word.doc document filename and the path of the OLE
object then give it the OLE Object 'Activate' command. This should bring up
the document automatically.
Problem is, I don't know what I just wrote. I have no Visual basic
programming experience. What I'm trying to do is have Access prompt a user
for a file name. This would open the Word document. I was told to use an
unbounded OLE object so it just shows up in the form but I'm not sure how to
do that. HELP!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Jasper
